A doctoral thesis at the College of Law, University of Fallujah, discussing legal security in real estate transactions. On Thursday, 3/13/2025, the College of Law discussed a doctoral thesis in private law titled ((Legal security in real estate transactions - a comparative study in real estate registration law)) and submitted by the doctoral student (Bakr Abdul Qader Fayyad). Research into the issues of legal security for real estate transactions has become one of the important issues that stems from the special importance of real estate in Nowadays, it is the main concern from a social, economic and legislative standpoint. It is one of the important topics of the era for investment and a reason for the openness of the legislation that regulates it. As a result of that and the multiplicity of actions that take place over it, legislation has paid attention to it and tried to cover its organization and protection, and to establish its provisions. Anyone who follows the legal organization of these legislations will find that they were seeking to establish legal security. For those dealing in it, and the stability of the rights acquired over it, and from here the role of real estate legal security emerges, the content of which is determined by the extent to which the legislation that regulates real estate transactions is able to achieve it and provide protection for the real estate rights resulting from it, especially after the real estate disputes that have arisen in our present time, which have raised doubts about the ability of legislation to provide the guarantees that the legislator seeks from real estate legislation and to achieve the desired security for individuals dealing in it. The study concluded with a number of important results and recommendations for the purpose of achieving security. Legal within the arena of Iraqi real estate legislation. The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Saad Hussein Abd, Chairman, Dr. Saddam Faisal Cooks, Member, Dr. Dara Hammad Abd, Member, Dr. Yasser Bassem Dhanoun, Member, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Siddiq, Member. Ziad Tariq Jassim, member and supervisor.
