An Overview of the Establishment of the master’s Program in Public Law
The master’s Program in Public Law was established after completing all the scientific requirements for its creation. The ministerial committee reviewed these requirements for launching the program, which resulted in the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish the master’s program in Public Law in our college for the academic year 2020–2021, pursuant to the letter from the Department of Research and Development (Ref: B T 5/2165) dated May 12, 2020. Subsequently, other requirements for admitting students to this program were initiated. Students are accepted into the program after meeting the conditions set by the ministry annually, according to the admission plan, and after passing the competitive examination, in addition to undergoing an interview to ensure their academic eligibility. These procedures are carried out within the predetermined timelines according to the admission plan.
This program has continued for four years, with four batches admitted from the academic year 2020–2021 until 2023–2024. The program remains ongoing, and admissions are open to those who wish to pursue a Master's degree in Public Law, provided they hold a bachelor’s degree in law. It is worth noting that the program comprises eight courses taught by a select group of faculty members from the department who hold advanced academic degrees and are recognized for their academic competence in this field. Students study various subjects related to each course.
