On Tuesday, 10/1/2024, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Law, University of Fallujah, held an awareness lecture entitled (Protecting Society from Drugs) in which the assistant lecturer, Aseel Amer Hammoud, teaching at our college, lectured. It included two topics: the first was devoted to defining the role of women in fighting drugs in Iraqi society by explaining the roles they play, including family awareness, surveillance, monitoring, and an educational and health role. The second was concerned with explaining realistic mechanisms for combating drugs. To combat the drug phenomenon by strengthening the role of the family, raising awareness through schools and universities, tightening the laws to combat this scourge, and contributing to supporting treatment and rehabilitation centers.
