Tasks of the Planning and Follow-up Unit
- Submitting proposals related to the creation of (divisions or administrative units) within the college’s formations.
- Organizing official documents for the establishment of scientific departments and following up with the university presidency and archiving them.
- Collecting and coordinating scientific, administrative, and technical plans prepared by the college to unify them into a single plan in light of the college’s general goals and performance requirements to fulfill its mission.
- Conducting feasibility studies for the college’s projects.
- Preparing the training courses guide.
- Preparing the academic guide.
- Preparing the college’s strategic plan.
- Providing specialized authorities with the required data and statistical tables.
- Preparing statistical tables related to students and faculty members and submitting them to the university.
- Creating a database for all employees in the college (permanent staff, contracts, and daily wages).
- Creating a database for all faculty members including their titles, specializations, degrees, job titles, and scientific activities.
- Completing the university statistics and annual report each year, as well as other required periodic statistics, and submitting them to the Ministry.
- Monitoring the college’s achievement rates of the annual plan and the main obstacles preventing its implementation.
- Tracking the workforce movement in the college (faculty, staff, contracts, daily wages) and their trends.
- Coordinating with the university presidency to ensure the implementation of the development plans set by the college.
- Following up on scientific conferences and seminars planned by colleges and departments in coordination with the Department of Scientific Affairs.
