On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Women’s Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, held a workshop entitled: (Enhancing Women’s Capacities in Electronic Governance), in which Dr. Shaima Shaker Khashman, head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, and Ms. Aseel Amer Hammoud, head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, attended. The workshop addressed how to use technology to improve job performance and empower women in that field through several aspects: - Encouraging women’s participation in the field of electronic governance in order to achieve Economic goals for society. - Providing educational and training opportunities for women in the field of electronic governance, information technology, and how to use public policies. Through these efforts, the workshop recommended that working women be empowered to contribute to the development of technology in a more comprehensive manner, and to enhance their involvement in electronic work in a way that achieves their aspirations to achieve leadership in technical fields and sectors, because they represent a promising future that pushes the economies of countries towards achieving sustainable development.
