On Tuesday, 3/25/2025, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Law held a workshop entitled (The term gender, its contemporary concept, and its social effects), in which the term “gender” was discussed as a contemporary concept that distinguishes between the male and female sexes, to include social and cultural roles and identities. It also reviewed its effects on laws and public policies, especially in the areas of equality, combating discrimination, and empowering marginalized groups, with a focus on its impact on shaping the social structure, family relations, and the labor market. The administrative and teaching assistant at our college (A.D. Abdul Rahman Saleh Latif) lectured.
