The Role of the University Student in Preventing the Danger of Drugs
As part of the College of Law’s directions and in line with its vision of preparing highly competent graduates, consolidating legal and societal awareness, and enhancing the role of students in confronting negative phenomena,
the college held, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, through its Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, a workshop titled (The Role of the University Student in Preventing the Danger of Drugs). The workshop was lectured by Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Ali.
The lecture addressed the dangers of drugs and their devastating effects on the individual and society, while clarifying the legal liability arising from their use and trafficking, emphasizing that the university student represents the first line of defense in spreading awareness and prevention.
Dr. Khaled stressed the need to activate the awareness role of students and strengthen institutional cooperation to reduce this scourge and protect society.
