In the framework of cooperation with members of the legal profession

In the framework of cooperation with members of the legal profession

In the framework of cooperation with members of the legal profession and the college’s belief in the important role of lawyers in achieving its goals of defending the rights of the oppressed, and with the aim of building a strong pillar of academic and practical cooperation with the Lawyers’ Union, a delegation from the Deanery of the College of Law visited the Fallujah Lawyers’ Chamber on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

The delegation was represented by the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Omar Ali Najm, and the supervising instructor of the Virtual Court program at the college, Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Tahrir.

They met with the President of the Lawyers’ Chamber, Mr. Omar Hamed Noman, along with a large number of lawyers, some of whom are graduates of the college. The meeting included reviewing the most notable observations made by lawyers regarding college graduates, as well as areas that should be emphasized in the curricula to provide law students with the best practical legal knowledge, qualifying them to work in the legal profession in line with its elevated status and role in society.

The college and the union agreed on developing a planned and executable curriculum as soon as possible during the upcoming academic year, in cooperation with the Fallujah Lawyers’ Union, and on involving the union and its lawyers in the academic and practical activities organized by the college.

In conclusion, the Dean of the College thanked the President of the Lawyers’ Chamber and all fellow lawyers for their warm reception and their initiative in solidifying the role of the union with the College of Law, contributing to the development of the educational process.
