As part of the discussion series, the Scientific Affairs Division held a discussion session titled (Criminal Confrontation of the Phenomenon of Drug Abuse), presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Khaled Ahmed Ali.

The session addressed the legal and criminal dimensions of the phenomenon of drug abuse, and the mechanisms for combating it according to the prevailing legislation, while highlighting the role of academic institutions in raising awareness and preventing this scourge due to its serious effects on the individual and society.

The session witnessed discussions and interventions that enriched its themes and contributed to enhancing legal awareness of this phenomenon.
