The Continuing Education Unit at the College organized a workshop on Monday, April 13, 2026, titled "Common Linguistic Errors in Legal Writing." The session was led by Assistant Lecturer Amena Jamil Hamad.
The workshop covered several key topics, including:
- Identifying the most prominent linguistic errors commonly found in legal texts.
- Developing proofreading and language-editing skills among students and administrative staff.
- Distinguishing between precise, professional legal style and weak or ineffective writing.
- Promoting the use of accurate, standard Arabic in official and formal documents.
The workshop aimed to enhance participants' linguistic competence and reinforce the importance of clarity, precision, and professionalism in legal writing—essential skills for both academic success and professional practice.
