As part of a series of annual activities, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, held a workshop entitled (Mechanisms for Enhancing Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem) on Tuesday, 4/30/2024, attended by M.M. Ashwaq Talib Kassar. The workshop included an explanation of the concept of self-confidence and self-esteem, its importance, the reasons for its lack, as well as the mechanisms for enhancing it. Self-confidence and self-esteem are the cornerstone of a healthy self-being. It is one of the personal characteristics that is not inherited physiologically, but rather is acquired from the environment and the experiences that the individual goes through in all aspects of life. There is no doubt that every success that the individual achieves is the primary reason after relying on God Almighty, which is his self-confidence and self-esteem. These are two terms that express healthy psychological compatibility, concluding by saying, with the necessity of implanting this good trait in all future generations so that they are a generation with confident steps that overcome difficulties.
