Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Prof. Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit held its workshop entitled (The reality of domestic violence in Iraqi society, causes and treatments), in which Prof. Dr. Adel Nasser Hussein, on Tuesday, 12/17/2024.. The workshop touched on the weakest party in the family, which may be the subject of violence if it exists, and explained the behaviors and actions that are considered such as domestic violence. The lecturer also addressed the causes that lead to domestic violence, and also explained the treatments adopted by Iraqi legislation to avoid cases of violence, and explained how to avoid the negative effects resulting from it. The workshop targeted female students, employees and faculty members of the college.
