a scientific trip
As part of the activities of the College of Law at the University of Fallujah related to continuing education, and in furtherance of the legal education program within the requirements of academic accreditation, which necessitates integrating the theoretical and practical aspects, a scientific trip was organized today, Tuesday, 5/5/2026, to the Federal Supreme Court for first-year students. This trip fulfills the practical requirements of the Constitutional Law course, under the supervision of our college's faculty members, Dr. Ahmed Talal Abdul Hamid and Ass. Lect. Ziyad Ali Jassim, accompanied by the Student Activities Officer, Mr. Raad Khamis, and the Head of the Media Division, Mr. Omar Hashem Hameed.
The students observed oral pleadings in the courtroom and met with Dr. Haider Ali Nouri, a member of the Federal Supreme Court. The students were briefed on the duties and competencies of the Federal Supreme Court and listened to substantive interventions from those present. The students were also introduced to the court's departments, the mechanisms for filing a constitutional lawsuit, and its conditions. Additionally, the college library was gifted with judicial collections of the court's decisions, along with the court's publications of the Iraqi Constitutional Judiciary Journal. The visit was met with good hospitality and a warm reception from the staff of the Federal Supreme Court.
