With the blessing of God Almighty, and with the generous sponsorship and honorable presence of Professor Dr. Sabah Ibrahim Hammadi, President of the University of Fallujah, and under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed, Dean of the College of Law. The College of Law at the University of Fallujah is holding its first scientific symposium for the academic year 2023-2024, tagged ((Homosexuality from a legal and Sharia perspective)) Homosexuality is an aberrant phenomenon that is incompatible with human nature, values, customs, and the innate conduct of life that God created man with it. In light of this challenge, it was necessary to shed light on this phenomenon from a legal and legal perspective, to clarify the position of the law on it and to explain ways to confront it legislatively to protect society from what might expose it to the risk of dissolution. The symposium had three axes: The first axis: The position of the Personal Status Law on the existing ties between people of the same sex, in which Professor Dr. Adel Nasser Hussein lectured. The second axis: The existing ties between people of the same sex in private international law, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Nafi lectured. Bahr Sultan.
