The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Law at Fallujah University held a workshop entitled “The Role of Women in Building Sustainable Societies,” in which Assistant Lecturer Saja Hamdi Mizer lectured. The workshop discussed in-depth the pivotal role of women in achieving sustainable development goals, highlighting their vital contributions in the social, economic and environmental fields. The lecture reviewed the challenges facing women in their empowerment process, focusing on possible solutions to enhance their participation in building more prosperous and sustainable societies. The workshop received broad interaction from the attendees, whose interventions enriched the discussion and highlighted inspiring visions and experiences in this field, which reflected a growing awareness of the importance of women’s role in achieving progress and development.
