Within the plan of annual scientific activities for our college’s teaching staff, the College of Law at the University of Fallujah held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, the discussion session entitled (Constitutional Dedication for Sustainable Development in Iraq), which was presented by Assistant Lecturer Ashwaq Talib Kassar, teaching in our college. Sustainable development is a human right that falls within the third generation of rights. It is not a product of the present era, but rather it is ancient and an integral part of human history, as it has been linked to human societies since the beginning of creation. It was influenced by Negatively and positively due to spatial and temporal circumstances, however, interest in it and its establishment is relatively recent, because since its inception, man has sought to achieve his humanity by living a dignified life and sustainable prosperity. He has appeared on the international and local legal scene and found his way amidst many legal terms such as modernity and globalization. Since the Constitution serves as the supreme legal translation of the foundations of society and its development and the legal shield protecting society from the challenges of the present and the future, it was natural for us to witness a late constitutional trend. To keep pace with developments in sustainable development, secure its requirements, and be keen to confront its challenges under many titles and names. The conclusion was a set of recommendations that enrich the subject, asking God Almighty for success and success. Media Division/College of Law
