Women's Affairs at the College of Law / University of Fallujah holds a panel discussion. The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Law / University of Fallujah held a panel discussion entitled: (Legal protection of women's right to work) within the pillar: Participation and institutional reform, paragraph (5), in which the following were present: Dr. Shaima Shaker Khashman, head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, teacher Aseel Amer Hammoud, and teacher Saja Hamdi Mizer; On Monday, April 21, 2025, it discussed the status of working women in Iraq and the rights guaranteed to them by legal texts, in addition to the guarantees that enhance their rights in addition to work and the work environment. Its main objective was: to present observations and recommendations, the most prominent of which was that women have rights that everyone must respect, especially the right to work, and that organizations concerned with women and relevant parties have a major role in clarifying these rights and must hold educational seminars and conferences in this regard, as the right to work is considered one of the most important rights that organizations must clarify and focus on, since women have a role no less important than the role of men in building society. This activity was held in accordance with the directives of the Women’s Affairs Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding the implementation of the Third National Plan for Women, Security and Peace, the pillar of participation and institutional reform for the year: 2025.
