National and International Guarantees of the Electoral Process – Iraq as a Model
The Technology Incubator Unit, in collaboration with the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Law, organized a lecture on Monday, October 20, 2025, entitled:
“National and International Guarantees of the Electoral Process – Iraq as a Model.”
The lecture shed light on the legal and political dimensions of the electoral process, focusing on national and international guarantees, as well as relevant penal provisions. It also addressed the main challenges and obstacles hindering the integrity of elections.
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Majid Hussein Ali, who presented an in-depth analytical perspective on the topic, supported by relevant examples and experiences within the Iraqi context. He concluded his lecture with a set of key findings and recommendations.
