The Legal Regulation for Combating Corruption in Iraq Towards Good Governance
Out of our college's commitment to spreading legal awareness and establishing the principles of integrity and good governance, the Legal Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency, organized the training course titled "The Legal Regulation for Combating Corruption in Iraq Towards Good Governance" on Sunday, December 7, 2025, as part of the anti-corruption and reduction plan. It was presented by Prof. Dr. Ammar Rajab Ma'isher and Eng. Ashwaq Talib Kassar. The course aimed to analyze the constitutional and legal framework concerned with protecting public funds and to assess the effectiveness of the role of independent bodies in this regard, in addition to discussing legal and institutional mechanisms and potential areas for development to ensure an integrated legal and academic system that confronts waste and attacks on public funds, to promote integrity and transparency, and to achieve sound governance based on the rule of law.
