A lecture on “Women’s Political Participation in Light of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet” on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, in the Judge’s Hall (Dia Sheet Khattab), where it touched on the position of Islamic jurisprudence on this, and pointed to the role that women played in political and social life from the dawn of Islam until the modern era. She emphasized what was stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights regarding women’s political participation, which is considered one of their most basic rights, whether by facing responsibility or by choosing who represents them in local or parliamentary councils.
