On Monday, 11/11/2024, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, in cooperation with the community police, held the workshop entitled: ((Drugs and their negative impact on society and the individual)). The workshop addressed the mechanism of combating drugs and raising awareness of their dangers through three axes. Researcher Omar Ismail Huwaidi lectured on the role of community police in confronting this danger, and Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Jassim Mahmoud addressed the psychological aspect and the extent of the possibility of enhancing Individual security to avoid falling into the drug trap. Prof. Dr. Khaled Ahmed Ali, a lecturer in our college, took stock of the effectiveness of the penalties imposed on drug users and dealers and their contribution to strengthening societal security and ridding it of the negative repercussions resulting from the spread of drugs in it.
