Doctoral thesis: “The Philosophy of the Iraqi Legislator on Personal Status.”
A doctoral thesis at the College of Law, University of Fallujah discusses the philosophy of the Iraqi legislator in the field of personal status between reality and perspective. On Thursday, 5/30/2024, the College of Law discussed a doctoral thesis in private law tagged ((The philosophy of the Iraqi legislator in the field of personal status between reality and perspective)) submitted by the doctoral student (Thaer Hamid Awad) in light of the challenges that have faced and are still facing legislative work in terms of truly addressing disputes. The family, the need for this study arose because it represents the foundation and true detail of the legislator’s intention and intent in the family provisions and the partial rules and general principles that fall under them. Therefore, identifying the legislator’s intentions and explaining their impact on the quality and philosophy of the legal text is not an easy matter, in terms of the legal and legal significance and its exposure to the problem or dispute occurring within the framework of marital relations and providing useful and correct solutions to it. In other words, the focus is on showing the inherent, realistic and perspective aspects through decisions. The divisions of this study were intentional because of its importance and great benefit in terms of strengthening and emphasizing the theoretical and practical scope in the midst of family relations through the main axes that are concerned with organizing the finer details of the family system and marital ties. It is necessary to state the rights and duties between the spouses in order to determine the legal and legal status of each of them, and then be careful to give priority to the jurisprudential and ideological side over the issue of building the family, its strength and stability. The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Abd, Chairman, Dr. Haider Hussein Kazem, member, Dr. Ziad Tariq Jassim, member, MD. Abdul Rahman Saleh Latif, member, MD. Khaled Hamad Fayyad, Member, Dr. Adel Nasser Hussein, member and supervisor, and after extensive study of the thesis and the discussion committee hearing the student’s defenses for his thesis, the committee decided to accept it and award the student a doctorate degree. A thousand congratulations to the student for this effort he has made and to further progress and scientific excellence, God willing. Media Division/College of Law
