The College of Law team etched a new sporting achievement into the college’s record
In a spirited atmosphere filled with sportsmanship and fair competition, the final match of the University President's Football Championship was held today, Monday, February 16, 2026. The College of Law team etched a new sporting achievement into the college’s record, further enriching its history filled with championships and reaffirming its distinguished presence and leadership in university forums.
The College of Law team secured a well-deserved victory over the College of Administration and Economics team with a score of five goals to one in the final match of the University of Fallujah President's Football Championship. Consequently, they clinched the championship cup with merit and justification, reinforcing their status as the most titled team in the history of this tournament.
The awarding ceremony took place in the presence of the respected University President (Prof. Dr. Ahmed Suleiman Al-Mohammedi) and the respected Dean of the College of Law (Prof. Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed). The Dean commended this outstanding sporting achievement, praising the high performance and fighting spirit demonstrated by the team players, and reaffirmed the college's administration's continuous support for sports activities that contribute to developing students' abilities and honing their talents.
Regarding individual awards, student Hudhayfah Mohammed Khalil / Third stage received the Best Player of the Tournament award, in recognition of his exceptional technical level and notable performance. Meanwhile, student Abdul Razzaq Abdul Qader / Second stage – Evening Studies received the Best Goalkeeper award, for his remarkable brilliance and pivotal role in achieving this accomplishment.
This victory crowns the tremendous efforts made by the team and embodies the College of Law's commitment to an honorable presence in various university activities. We wish them continued success and further achievements.
