The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Law / University of Fallujah, under the patronage of the honorable Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Raed Naji Ahmed, held a symposium on Wednesday, 10/23/2024, attended by college faculty and a number of female and male college employees, entitled (Early Detection of Breast Cancer). The lecture was given by Prof. Dr. Hoda Hamid Al-Janabi, a gynecologist at the College of Medicine/University. Fallujah, in the presence of the division official, teacher Areej Talib Kazem, the symposium addressed two topics: the first: about breast cancer and how to identify it and treat it from the beginning of its appearance by conducting initial examinations in hospitals, in addition to examinations performed by the woman or girl at home. As for the second topic: the doctor explained a set of habits, advice, and instructions to the students that must be followed, the most important of which are taking care of the health of the body, skin, and teeth, practicing continuous exercise, and not eating Prepared foods, sweets, and soft drinks in abundance. Paying attention to conducting tests when feeling ill and not neglecting it. This symposium was organized by the unit and was one of the most important axes of its annual plan, which is based on what the Women’s Affairs Department has indicated and encouraged about paying attention to women’s health and pushing them to review and take the necessary measures to prevent the disease, as prevention is better than cure.
